Real Time Simulator as new media for Marketing Tools

Its kinda hard for a Marketing Team at any segment of industry or selling products, to convince potential buyer to buy any products that their sells. It is even harder for SIRIM to sell their technology to their buyers when most of the buyers could not visit their plant. The idea pops when SIRIM people came to fcendvsyu last year, telling us this matter. It is even more impossible for them to bring their machinery and whole plant as a showcase for any exhibition involved inside or outside Malaysia.

After a session with the their team, we suggested to bring the whole technology into a simulation in 3D as their marketing tool. With this game technology, we have created the whole plant environment into a real simulator. We built their machines and characters from mesh until the whole situation became realistic.

The most difficult part of this project was the coordination of the whole process. There are several machines that can be use with different process to make four different types of end products. User of this program can use all the machines as if they are using the real machine at the plant. This realistic concept creates this tool more interesting.

The user have to go through the real standard operating procedure as at the laboratory.

The whole process to complete this project took us about four months. After a few discussion the team finalized  everything and we proceed to dubbing the narrator voice over and background sound in a studio lab. The end product of this Real Time Simulation Software become a CD with complete installer and instructions. Fcendvsyu Design now come to another level in design technology, with this capability we are very confident to welcome any agencies or government body that need this technology to promote or as a part of their marketing tools. Electra Blue for Urban Concept Karaoke

Big impact from L.E.D. usage completing designing job for URBAN Karaoke. It's whole concept designed by Fcendvsyu design team, guided by it's owner Mr. Solih Toha. This family karaoke owner is a success entrepreneur that also owned a famous restraunt in Plaza Damas named Daun Cafe.

Urban Karaoke is also located at Plaza Damas which was the previous Daun's place, now Daun Cafe had moved to a better location also in Plaza Damas.

 

 

 Above is the earliest layout plan in 3 dimensional  view for Urban, however minor changes done by Mr. Solih and fcendvsyu design team after measuring exact on the site. All changes done purposely after considering all possibilities and space usage. Below was the front facade of Urban at Plaza Damas.

 Playing with minimal basic colors such as warm grey for the interior suggested by fcendvsyu design team for Urban's receptionist and waiting area. Adding colors only using L.E.D.s playing with electra blue.

 The 4 feet pathway early design below suggested by our team was a little bit too much.

 Reducing the design will help reducing the time frame for completing this karaoke and also reducing the cost. Below is the final 3 dimensional illustration view with straight L.E.D. strips at the plaster ceiling. 

 Below pictures show the progress work, as you can see the tiles are 2x2 foot side by side polished finish choose by the owner himself. It is a good choice because technically saves a lot of construction time when cutting the tiles is unnecessary.

 The VIP room for Urban is so spacious. The above 3 Dimensional illustration was slightly change, a big projector screen added between those 52 inch led tv.

 

 The ceiling that we design was greatly done by the contractors exactly as the illustration.

 This is the wall looks before the signage was installed.

 Urban Karaoke is still under construction and will be operating soon by next month. Color Contrast Combination 2012

Last December 2012, fcendvsyu design manage to create a double deck pavilion for Satu Daerah Satu Industri (SDSI). As yearly job, this year we decided to combine contrast color for this special pavilion.

 

 From our original design plan, we combine red, green and gold, and play with stripes in red. The space given to build this pavilion is 18 x 12 meters. So we start doing design and hopefully this large space will become great impact.

Starting from 12.00 in the afternoon, they started standing this pavilion. However this metal structure was built separately earlier and only assembling job were done at this site. This is the same metal structure that been use for concrete buildings. It is to ensure this deck will stand strongly with more than 20 people on top of it.

 After twelve hours of working, this pavilion stands almost complete. 

To ensure the color match with the design was not an easy job. The first paint layer was not exactly the same as in the design, but our technical manager says the color will be exactly the same after 3 layers of paint finished and dry. So we wait and see after all layers were applied, and when it dry it really become as the same as in the design.

Finally this pavilion done in 24 hours!

At the top of the deck where a cafe style with seating arranged. We use an artificial grass carpet for this area.

This double deck setting pavilion is became a big attention to all visitor at this event. Especially photographers that searching for different perspective from higher side of view. This design is quite tricky to build, but as a designer we are having fun solving all the problems until it can stand. Thanks again to all viewers of Fcendvsyu design blog! 2003 Jewelry Hand Sketch

Hye guys! after a while I revised my old file, kept well between bunches of old books and files. I saw my 2003 jewelry sketches!

This hand sketches was done by me as my practice during my jewelry design course.

When I look at the jewelry I can feel the freshness of me in this design industry way back almost 10 years ago!

I guess the industry has gone too far today and growing very fast! even all of my skecthes now were done in adobe.

However I will still appreciate the high value of handsketch. Thanks to the technology today, but let the hand skills remain as the most incredible piece of work.

I remember one of my lecturer of my Masters class in UiTM (2005), he is the first designer of Proton, he showed us his slideshows of 1980's, he hand sketched the first national car in actual size complete rendering on a wall. The whole class laugh. He presented the big skecth to Tun Mahathir, and the Japanese of Mitsubishi. And he really did it. So guys, my advise never leave off the skills even today we have all kind of technology that helps ur in design industry.

Sculptures of Dubai and Abu Dhabi

 Unlimited Ideas and exploration of shapes and functions is the most satisfaction for a designer. This is what experienced by almost all architect in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. During my visit to UAE last february, I can see sculptures were build by engineers and architect  without any problems, they can explore as much as they wanted to. Any style and any design that I couldn't imagine before for a building to be build is almost at every where here in Dubai and Abu Dhabi!

 United Arab Emirates is a great place to go! For designers to explore in almost every field of designing, buildings, cars, interiors, fashion, and even designing a new development city.
 

 Above is a building standing in front of Dubai Mall which is very near to Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world.

 Every building has it's own style.

 Above picture weres taken in Abu Dhabi.

 Below is Burj Dubai which created influence by a sailboat. Burj Dubai is located at the beach in Dubai. This great idea become another big attraction for Dubai.

 My camera couldn't catch all those mind blowing buildings as the traffic move quite fast.

 

 Below is the most fascinating sculpture of Dubai, Burj Khalifa, the world most tallest building. This building has been used in Mission Impossible series "Ghost Protocol". I didn't get the chance to get on the top of this great sculpture, probably will make it on my next visit to Dubai soon.
